To Start A 'Father Loves Our
City' Initiative...
It
Begins With One Person
While it is our hope that local churches and ministries
will come together to help support their own city initiatives,
often a 'Father Loves Our City' vision starts with one person
who has been impacted by the Father's love and grows from
there. The whole emphasis of this outreach is to 'Proclaim
God's Heart For Each City One Person At A Time".
Each city initiative has to start somewhere and by someone,
so it might as well begin with you.
In Southend UK, a massive citywide 30+ church outreach began
with one housewife who had a vision to share the Father's
Love Letter with others. In Hoddesdon, UK, the vision started
with one pastor. In Kingman, Arizona it started with one
ministry leader. And remember how God even used one reluctant
man named Jonah to turn the city of Ninevah upside down!
The Bible encourages us not to despise the 'day of small
things'. So it is helpful for us to remember what kinds
of huge fires can be started by just one small spark.
